The filmmakers used what they already had on hand
Line of Events
After being resurrected by a sinister entity, Art the Clown returns to the shy town of Miles County, where he attacks a teenage girl and her younger brother on Halloween night. The scenes filmed at the “Terrifier” haunted house were shot at an actual haunted house called the Fright Factory in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. Art’s favorite acid is fluoroantimonic acid, which he keeps in a clear glass bottle.
Art the Clown:
It’s a super acid capable of dissolving even glass. There is a mid-credits scene in a mental hospital featuring Chris Jericho as security guard Alan Burke and Leah Voysey as the nurse. The German DVD and Blu-ray releases by Tiberius Film are cut by about three minutes to ensure a “No Under 18” rating (this was necessary as the guidelines for video releases are stricter than for theatrical releases).

Basically all of the violent scenes were cut out to tone down the violence. Nameless Media’s 4K Ultra-HD Blu-ray Mediabook releases are uncut and received a slight thumbs down from SPIO/JK. The writing needs work, and lots of it
(BMI). A bloody mess and a decent story, if you like slasher horror movies this is your go-to. The adult authority figures are irrational and overreact, while the kids don’t bat an eyelid – it’s awkward and unrealistic.
This movie is fun to watch, flaws aside, and I’m excited for Terrifier 3
The supporting characters’ dialogue is also awkward and didn’t seem to get much attention beyond the first draft. The art is cruel and insidious, and shows more personality this time around, becoming a horror icon in the process as the dumbest killer who clearly enjoys what he does. The gore effects are great, and hopefully with the success of Terrifier 2, the third one will bring a bigger budget for higher quality actors and writers.
