An ordinary immigrant father, retired in Orlando, is recruited as an undercover agent for the Chinese police, only to discover a darker truth. Jerry: That’s… that’s my problem. I believe people.. You’ll figure out pretty quickly what’s going on, but that’s not the point. This combination documentary with espionage film is funny, depressing, charming, hopeless and fascinating all at once. And that’s all without knowing the story behind it (check it out). You also get the classic immigrant family story of first and second generation Americans as it deals with many middle-aged people worrying about their aging parents.
