Line of Events
After witnessing a bizarre, traumatic incident involving a female patient, a psychiatrist becomes increasingly convinced that she is being threatened by an unusual entity behind home plate dead and smiling as he stared into the camera, motionless despite fans in the audience being understandably concerned, while wearing Smile T-shirts. Another soon appeared in the background with the audience during the Today show. At about the 31 minute mark, Rose breaks a glass when her alarm goes off. A few seconds later, as he checks the door, he’s wearing lace-up shoes.
Rose Cotter: What are you?
Based on what happens later at the party, there are a few continuity issues that may not be "bugs" but it may actually be intentional to show "interruptions" in Rose’s consciousness/mind.. Why are you doing this to me? Monstrosity: Because your mind is so attractive. The Paramount opening and closing logos feature a curved line in the shape of a smile at the base of a mountain.

Lollipop Written by Beverley Ross & Julius Dixon Performed by The Chordettes. Sosie Bacon plays an incompetent therapist who mutters platitudes and claims to be doing nothing at all while bad things happen to her patients. After demonstrating her inability to provide basic first aid to anyone within a fifty mile radius, she caught a case of the ghost. The specters then follow her around, all creepy and not doing much, perhaps as an ironic form of mockery.
This is silly nonsense, but it’s brilliantly produced
None of the characters, supernatural or otherwise, seem to be good at their jobs. Decent acting, good cinematography, solid editing and engaging direction. It’s a good time, despite the stupid characters, copy-paste writing, terrible dialogue and endless clichés. It’s a fun and occasionally effective mushy bouncy horror – highly polished shit that’s so shiny you stop noticing the smell.
